Because we can bbq in January!!!
Rus had a huge yearning for bbq’ed chicken. So since the weather was perfect (not too cold), we went to the store and bought some drumsticks, corn and mac n’ cheese.

I made the corn by removing the stalks and adding butter, pepper and a veggie seasoning made by Weber. I covered the corn with the stalks again and wrapped them in foil.

While I did this, Rus washed the chicken drumsticks.
I seasoned the drumsticks with pepper, garlic and onion powder and a lemon seasoning also made by Weber.
Rus then added a Honey Bbq Sauce to the chicken.

There they go on the grill!

And while the chicken was grilling, we ate a nice pre-made spinach artichoke dip in a sourdough bread bowl. This was the first time that we actually got to use our patio set!

After about 20 minutes with frequent turning, the chicken and corn were done. Always make sure to cut into one before taking them off the grill to make sure they’re fully cooked.

Great meal! You removed the “husks” and not the stalks, however
oops, wrong corn lingo!
That looks so good. I’m jealous!
All I can get around here is cabbage and greens this time of year.
